cthis is so, so beautiful. i hate that hypatia is so often reduced to a poster girl for atheism. it is a dishonour to her. she was inspired by so many traditions of belief and scientific and philosophical thought. you capture the depths of her knowledge, her passion and the beauty of her mind.

@likewildflowers i'm so touched by your comment, it's true, historical figures were human beings after all with all their beliefs, contradictions and complexities which get often reduced to stereotypes and simplified. So glad you liked this. thank you so much!

It's really beautiful. I've been a lover of both Hypatia and Agora for some time and also musically inspired by Hypatia's story, and you captured the essence perfectly.

@Idril hypatia is one of my fave historical figures ever. She incredibly influenced me and the way i see the world...
oh, and thank you, your comments are always appreciated :D

I LIKE VERY MUCH, PHOTO COVER LADY IS WEARING LIKE INDIAN STYLE, IS IT BECAUSE OF TITLE IS TEMPLE OF KNOWLEDGE (TEMPLE IS EVENLY LINK WITH OUR INDIAN GOD/DESS)

@ZUJUMANGONI looks like one of the traditional indian costumes is very similar to ancient greco-roman dresses (with some minor differences)! that's interesting!
ah, if you're interested in the lady here, she's rachel weisz in the wonderful film "Agora" about hypatia of alexandria!
p.s. i'll soon create a mix inspired by India :)
