Normally my summer playlists are pretty upbeat and/or mellow but it's a more bluesy feel this year. A series of watery choices for the summer that never was (cover pic taken in my garden 27/8/12). A summer that started with hosepipe bans but was quickly followed by flash floods, hailstorms, gales and single figure temperatures. I guess Mark Lanegan must be an honorary Brit for his contribution to the list. A nod to our bright spot in an otherwise dreary summer comes in at the end.
