An Awe for the Oboe

Being an oboist, I tend to isolate myself into my own little oboe world. Here's some music featuring the oboe that I'm either working on or just love listening too. Featuring composers: Mozart, Vaughan Williams, and Strauss

  • Oboe Concerto in C, K.314: 1. Allegro aperto by Neil Black
  • Marcello Oboe Concerto In C Minor Adagio by Ray Still
  • Prince Igor Polovtsian Dances by Borodin
  • John Mack & Eunice Podis by Oboe Sonata, Op. 166 II. Pastorale
  • Song Of the Gulls by King Crimson
  • Camerata Bariloche by Alessandro Marcello
  • Oboe Concerto In C Major: I. Introduzione: Larghetto by Lajos Lencses
  • Vaughan Williams oboe concerto mvt 1 by Elle Torry

Hi Madmars, my son plays oboe and my husband and daughter play the cello. This week, I had to pack up our apartment in Brussels and move back to the Surrey countryside in England. This was my favourite playlist to pack by, and the chaps that came in to box things up loved it too. I thought you'd be pleased to know you have a European following! Keep it coming!
