Before We Forget: The Romanticism of Christmas 1919-1974

Notes

A tribute to Christmas as I remember it, with a hint of what I know it to have been long before I was born, and featuring a short mid-section addressing the romantic loneliness of the season.

Bookended by recordings from Alan Lomax's document of a traditional Mummer's Play (the only allusion to past-times), in between which you'll find the usual culprits of old like Bing Crosby, Vince Guaraldi, and Nat 'King' Cole.

A similar, more traditional mix, may be assembled later.
