Boondock Tides

This fellow Isaac Newton sure was on his game back in 1687 using his theory of universal gravitation to officially determine what caused tides to occur twice a day. This rise and fall of large masses of water are a result of the gravitational interaction between the moon and the earth, creating an outward bulge on the ocean in the direction of the moon. On the other side of the planet, another bulge is created as the earth rotates further away from the moon. Many thanks to you for listening and to the 8tracks Team for making this all possible. Enjoy the music!
