Promises, what are these voluntary obligations? Some hold the opinion promises start with one’s own being and are a direct reflection of self-respect; considering that there is nothing more powerful than a promise to nourish one’s self-esteem. Others believe promises made within the context of offering sunny weather all time may prove to be futile, whereas promises to hold an umbrella open when it rains may prove to be more fulfillable.
