As with most exercise programs, implementing a post-workout cool down is a critical component in de-escalating the heart rate and overall body function back to a state rest. Seems that the sudden stop during some exercise programs may perhaps led into them nasty dizzy spells or lightheadedness. Some prefer simple body stretches to prevent the stressed muscles from tightening and creating them painful stings. A cool down duration various as each body is unique as is the exercise intensity exerted on it. No matter how long, listening to the brains messages will prevent the risk of injury.
