Are other methods beyond listening to music to help one fall asleep? Seems coaxing yourself into dreamland while be worried about something without music just doesn’t bring on those Z’s. On the other hand, you could just count sheep or wear socks to bed help instead? Maybe scenting the bedroom with lavender or making a whoosh sound to a count of 10 might help. What about this Suprachiasmatic Nucleus (SCN) that initiates signals to parts of the brain that control hormones, body temp and other functions like making one feel sleepy or be wide awake. Is it related to the Melatonin hormone which is made by a part of the brain called the Pineal Gland which regulates clock activities in the body. I thought nibbling on turkey in bed was helping me get to sleep faster. Enjoy your sleep!
