Notes
Tomorrow is Monday. The sky is clear tonight. It’s dry and cool. 60 degrees and dropping and there are people standing outside in the middle of the desert in their coats, watching the stars, watching the moon, watching the world turn because we won’t be able to for much longer, the scientists say. Everything is cool and blue and beautiful, it’s calm and quiet and we can remember what it was like to be content.
Don’t sleep. Don’t close your eyes. Look outside, look out your window, stand in your front yard. The world is ending but we’re still here now.
