It ran from sea to sea, cutting deeply through the country, separating east from west. On both sides life was left to thrive but within those bitter walled borders lay only death. Madness claimed lives, those who lingered too long falling prey and bringing their own doom faster than any weapon. There was no escaping. Once within those walls, it was only so long before the tendrils would take.
