fits & starts

Do I have an original thought in my head? My bald head. Maybe if I were happier, my hair wouldn't be falling out. Life is short. I need to make the most of it. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. I'm a walking cliché. I really need to go to the doctor and have my leg checked. There's something wrong. A bump. The dentist called again. I'm way overdue. If I stop putting things off, I would be happier. All I do is sit on my fat ass. If my ass wasn't fat I would be happier.

Listening to your playlist gives me all these weird ideas. I'm a writer so I get ideas all the time, but these ideas... Damn it, man. I just love these tracks.

I sincerely apologize; it was never my intent to inspire anyone. ;)

Seriously though, thanks for listening and, especially, for commenting. I really appreciate the feedback.

I like the look of your 'experimental' collection too!

Happy writing! I'll try to keep cranking out the weirdness to keep your fire fueled.

That film got to me on many levels. However, I have to say that its greatest accomplishment was demonstrating that Nicholas Cage was, when properly cast, actually an actor.

I agree. I have pretty much hated every other role that Nicholas Cage played up to that point (the one exception, perhaps, being in Raising Arizona); however, he actually demonstrated some genuine talent in Adaptation. I'd say the same for the Weather Man as well. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. It's a comedy, but it tends toward a darker, neurotic type of humor, which I appreciate.

Check out Brian de Palma's Snake Eyes. The opening scene is amazing, the rest is hit and miss (shame), but Mr Cage is great as the sleazebag whose nose is getting rubbed into his insignificance in the scheme of things.
