Part of my Free Samples Group, to categorize and distinguish the subtle differences in the vaporwave musical genre.

Lofi is less of a direct child of vaporwave itself (coming more from the chillwave genre) , but stands alongside it with releases that dip into both genres."Lo-fi" stands for "Low Fidelity" or rather, music with audible imperfections during recording. Mixed with its origins in Hip Hop and those influences on the genre, and standing before you is the defining elements of the genre, something rough around the edges but usually mellow and relaxing to listen to. Often sampling free beats and sampling anything from whole preexisting songs to spoken word.
