Most of the music I've gotten really excited about in the past few months has been made by women in Nashville. From the legendary (Roseanne Cash) to the suddenly famous (Kacey Musgraves) to the relatively unknown (Lori McKenna, who's technically from Massachussetts, but works a lot in Nashville), each one of the 8 albums these women made in the past year is fabulous.
