Home is Where the Hatred is

A mix for Black folks in America. A mix for surviving in these dire times. The mix is primarily made up of 90s era hip hop with a mix of other songs for flavor.

The title comes from the Gil Scott-Heron track, 'Home is Where the Hatred is' off the 1971 album, 'Pieces of a Man'.

Cover image is a film still from the 1978 film 'Killer of Sheep', written, directed, produced, and shot by Charles Burnett. The film depicts the culture of urban African-Americans in Los Angeles' Watts district.
