She brought a full artistic renaissance. The Enlightenment philosophers loved her (Voltaire treated her like his queen). She technically killed her husband who didn't give a shit about her or about Russia. While she seemed so liberal, she actually did shit nothing for the slaves (half of her people) and even made things worse (and yet Voltaire or Diderot knew nothing and thought she was amazing?). She wasn't the representation of enlightened despotism, she was a simple despot who directed the light where there was nothing ugly and nothing to go against her. Still, it's funny how many men she fooled.
The bitch wasn't even Russian, she was German for Christ's sake!
