is a DJ, community activist, and and an award-winning independent journalist from Montreal. His work in radio, print, and community organizing focuses around issues of migration, poverty, art, and anti-capitalist resistance. He has reported from Israel/Palestine, Mexico, Haiti, the Balkans, and across occupied Turtle Island (“North America”). Aside from completing his degree in Communication studies at Concordia University, Aaron hosts a weekly program, “Roots Rock Rebel”, on CKUT radio, where he tries to map the constellations between reggae, soul music, and revolution.
