There were several innovative artists responsible for the fire and creativity that marked the best of the Jazz/Rock Fusion scene during its heyday in the 1970s. Miles Davis paved the way for this new music with the groundbreaking release of "Bitches Brew" in 1969, and many of his alumni carried the torch, forming their own popular bands in the genre, including John McLaughlin, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Tony Williams, and many more! No Kenny G on this mix! Enjoy!
