Once "the only band that matters" The Clash were probably the most gifted and curious band to emerge from the Brittish Punk era. Among the first to infuse reggae, hip-hop, and dub into rock music, they paved the way for subsequent alternative rock and modern genres fusion. This two-part playlist focuses on them and their legitimate successors, the most notable being obviously Gorillaz. More dub to expect in part 2.
