A certain kind of '80s nostalgia I hope is evident in these tracks. I'm fond of the sound Bat for Lashes has from Siouxsie Sioux and repeated viewings of Labyrinth but this mix is from the other kid who watched Labyrinth too many times and still went outside. I picture these songs sung on a Greek isle on a summer adventure while the artist is wearing day-glo shorts.
