I know it's hard to open up after others hurting you. I'm sure anxiety bites at your skin when you imagine opening yourself up to someone again and devoting yourself to the love you have for them. I don't blame you and you have every right to protect yourself in such a way, but I can promise you that if you do come to terms with the idea of really beings with me, I want it to be permanent. I want YOU. I don't think you're a temporary release or just a reckless desperation for love. I promise you that you are somebody I am willing to fight for and love until the stars all burn out and all of existence itself fades into nothingness, and even then, my love would live on.
