When I first spotted A Great and Terrible Beauty, I thought it was some generic Victorian romance. But I started reading it out of curiosity, and was immediately hooked. A fantasy novel set amidst a repressive society that excluded women? With a hint of India thrown into it? LOVE. So this is my magnum opus, a two-disc mix following Gemma Doyle (and her acquaintances) through the events of A Great and Terrible Beauty and Rebel Angels.
