Notes
For the games played behind the castle walls. For decadent courts where a single misstep could mean death or, even worse, dishonor. For daggers hidden up sleeves and rings filled with untraceable poisons. Where secrets are the most valuable currency and words are more feared than weapons. Women in petticoats and flowing skirts whose smiles are as painted on as their faces. Men in gold and silver and brocade whose eyes glimmer with excitement as they send a rival stumbling to the ground.
It's still a battlefield darling, the weapons are just subtler and the soldiers dressed better.
