i've gotten engaged this week and it's the most precious thing that has ever happened to me
my lifelong best friend decided we should spend the rest of our days together
and while i wept i couldn't stop smiling

(legally, we're both still minors for a few more weeks (on his end, few more months on mine), so we won't get married for while-and we would have to elope, but we're ready for that. i've never been more ready for anything in my whole life)
