I met him in the midst of my very own apocalypse. Rubble and dust and other infinite nothings. He was strange, out of place like a fresh bruise:
Finn.
Finn, like seaside cliffs and ocean tides and that smell tapered to the bits of drift wood I used to collect as a child. Finn was a nice name. Bruises weren't supposed to have nice names.
