You are absolutely right about the general theme when it comes to slytherin mixes! It's such a pain to search for something uplifting and inspiring and not losing it's slytherin edge. I feel like most playlists are mostly about in-born slytherins, purebloods like Blacks and Malfoys and other families we know nothing about like Nott and Zabinin and Greengrass, about kids who must uphold their name. But yours? It's definitely about first generation slytherins, perhaps not of pureblood or maybe from families whose members were sorted into other houses. This one is for kids who'd be the foundation for a new family, new branch of magic, for those who are constantly are demanded to prove themselves not only to the world but their old money housemates too. It's amazing, thank you!
