This is basically what I believe to represent the best in songs from mixtape releases in the year 2012. My limitation was that it had to be short enough to fit onto a CD.
I wish I had been able to find a little more room for Southern hip-hop and a couple more instrumental tracks but on the whole I think this is a good representation of what I personally thought was the best stuff to come out this year. Enjoy.
