As I started to explore the musical landscape there was always a center, a place to land so to speak. Somewhere I could chart a course on familiar terms, seeing new terrain, yet gain the perspective that feeling the sun shine on you from a new angle always brings.
How far from home you are doesn’t necessarily matter. It’s the idea that you’ve never been there and you may or may not return again.
These are all places I’ve returned to many times. Some I discovered early in my life and others have been newly surveyed within the last few years. All have put their stamp on my passport and the travels to them have added to the landscape of my soul.
