I live about 20 miles away from the houses pictured on the cover. Someday I'll visit it. It was once the center of the musical universe. Don't let anyone tell you differently. The amount of classics pumped out of these buildings in such a short period of time is staggering. There's way too many for me to cover in this concept with the main limit I put on myself, that is I try to make these playlists short enough to fit on a CD. So I keep it to one song per artist, which after filling in the iconic artists and the iconic one shots gives me a little room for adventure. You'll find a few left turns on this mix but it'll always steer back on course.
