Notes
Nicky Hopkins was one of the most in demand session players in the history of rock. He suffered from Crohn's disease which prevented a lot of touring. He did join the Jeff Beck Group for a short time and also the Quicksilver Messenger Service for a few albums. Mostly though he was a hired gun. As this mix unfolds, the who's who of whom played for may shock and amaze you. I tried in some instances to use the cuts where he was featured even whaen bigger hits were available. In the end what you're hearing is a veritable history of Rock from 1966 - 1977.
