this episode taught me so much about family.
tbh i think the only kind of "true love" is family love
with real family love, no matter what happens, no matter what shit you get into, you'll always be there for each other
in a way this is a rick and morty fanmix and in a way this is kinda dedicated to my mom & sister for helping me survive all these years, and putting up with me and loving me even when I treated them like garbage. i don't know what i'd do without them. we're gonna stick together no matter what

@MarvelandPonder thank you!! and ye i wonder the same thing,, i don't think rick was there at that point in their lives (it shows him holding babie morty in a photo but that was said to be a mistake) but i still like to think in some universe they were all together in their younger days at some point

@crykov Yeah, I know what you mean. I have to believe our Rick's been this bitter and depressed for a while now, and even if he came back around the time when the kids were young, it's hard to even imagine how he'd be with them (that makes it all the more adorable to imagine he'd actually take care of them, though). Maybe we can only get that kind of sweetness in an alternate universe, but still, it's still too perfect.
