Notes
They say "when it rains, it pours." Not with us; when it rains, it floods, and we get swept away in the wreckage and left with nothing but the trash and whatever remains. We are not them, for they know nothing of being able to rebuild with tired hands and no tools. We are not them, for they complain about minor inconveniences when we have never known life without struggle. We are not them, because when we fight, we know what we're fighting for: each other.
