Christian Indie

Notes

A search of "Christian Indie" on 8tracks revealed nothing, so I decided to fill the hole. Many of these songs are not explicit in their faith but these artists are generally considered to be Christian. Artists range from indie kings like mewithoutYou and As Cities Burn to rising stars like Milano and others. 25 tracks to show indie types that Christian music can be good and Christian types that indie music is good. Drop a comment if you know any other great Christian indie artists not on here.

This is a great playlist man. I love that danielson song in particular. Starflyer 59 and As Cities Burn are my favorites. I was introduced to MeWithoutYou thanks to this playlist and I have been loving them ever since. Heard this playlist back in late February and I'm just now commenting but this is a really good christian indie playlist.

Great mix! There are a few bands in there I hadn't heard of, which was great. I loved that you threw Kye Kye in there. They deserve more recognition. Mae's one of my faves as well, and of course Future of Forestry.

A few I might have added would be Thrice, Cush, TJ Hill, and perhaps even John Mark McMillan or Stavesacre, depending on the song.

It's really nice to see this style of mix on here though. I think this place could use more of these. I've just started using 8tracks, so I'll try to post a few of my own in the next few months.

glad you liked it! not hugh fan of Thrice and I always thought of them as more post hardcore instead of indie, but one of their recent songs could have been a good addition. I've heard of Stavesacre but not the others, I'll try to look them up.
