Playlist for a headcanon; college coffee shop AU, Derek left and at the end of senior year, so does Stiles. They run into each other in New York in a coffee shop that Derek owns. Stiles becomes a regular; he goes there to study, of course..
"I'm here for the coffee." Stiles says and smirks at Derek.
"The coffee is bad and expensive." Derek deadpans and Stiles nearly chokes on his drink.
"This is your shop, and you're saying that the co-" He starts but Derek interrupts him and stares down at him, arms crossed, stupidly handsome even while being annoyed.
"Stiles."
"I'm here for the free wifi." He shrugs and Derek heaves a sigh, "There's wifi on campus!"
"But the company here is better." Stiles adds, can't help the smile when he looks up and sees Derek's dumbfounded expression.
