One of my favorite quotes from Luisa Rey mystery is how Mitchell describes the hippie protesters trailers as "washed up from the Pacific".

This is fantastic! I have one question, though: why did you chose The National to go with the Sloosha's Crossin' segment? I was just wondering because, to me, the songs you chose for that part don't seem to fit with that particular storyline...or I could just be missing something. xD

I also LOVE the symmetry between each segment and the ease with which they tie into the novel. To have found songs that convey the mood and content of the passage, or that section as a whole, from the specific people you chose and have it work throughout was so balance and very clever, I think. I really enjoyed this lovely playlist! ^_^
