We couldn't accept it.
We Were Afraid.
And yet, we couldn't help ourselves.
Like idiots, we danced around each other...

The thing that held us back was ambiguity. And fear. Fear is the topic here, love.

The fear of being rejected.

It's also about self-hatred because, we hate ourselves so much that we wondered if the other would even bother with us. We were scared of what we could do and how the other person would affect us.
