This mixtape is a collection of music from refugees that are directly affected by the Syrian Civil War. The playlist is set up to start with a soft acoustic entrance leading up to the roaring hip-hop chants and beats of the people. I wanted to capture the process their mind must be going through in their devastating circumstances: from sorrow and sadness to anger and rage. I also wanted to illustrate that transition by utilizing the key the songs are in, tempo, and style.
