I wanted to make a playlist of songs where the artists were harshly questioning their societal expectations as women, but that sonically remained very beautiful and calm. A lot of the songs ended up being about how painful it can be to live in a society with such strict gender roles, I think.

A lot of baroque pop, art pop, some of it a little folkish.
