I like to believe Yoosung has both yandere and tsundere traits which makes it hard for V.
Yoosung doesn't want to admit he likes V, and tries to hate him instead. When he finally can't deny his crush anymore and he realizes he's tired of V's self sacrificing ways and wants him to be happy too, he gets a bit possessive and stubborn which would keep V from trying to convince him he isn't good for Yoosung.
