1979-1982 was a pretty damn bizarre era for music. Likely based on innovations in synthesizers and recording technology, a lot of popular artists were experimenting with electronic sounds. Everyone from Neil Young to Stevie Wonder seemed to have a strange album choice during this time. Of course, some of these groups made their name on electronic experimentation, but it's still interesting to juxtapose artists not associated with this kind of music with ones that are. 12 tracks.
