It's strange. Some of these tracks I'd heard, but for some reason they didn't register as great songs. Like "Jet" is a pop radio song, but it never clicked. I'd listened to Hear Come the Warm Jets front to back, but that song never struck me. Funny bit of music nerddom.
If you're just now hearing Needle In The Camel's Eye, then you must have missed out on the movie Velvet Goldmine. If you're into Eno, Iggy, Bowie, The Velvet Underground, The Venus In Furs, Roxy Music... Just glam rock in general, you owe it to yourself to check out that movie.
