I just moved to California, and this is all music that I feel fits the mood here. Folk-punk from Andrew Jackson Jihad, some buzzy guitar rock from Delta Spirit, and a spoken word piece from Knoxville's own Todd Steed and the Suns of Phere make for a diverse playlist.

Try my previous mix "the groove of things" out! It's music with a similar atmosphere to this mix, but a bit more laid-back. It's got Watsky on it, if you've ever heard of him
