Notes
Overtone singing, also known as harmonic singing or throat singing, is a type of singing in which the vocalist manipulates the resonances that are created as air travels from the lungs, past the vocal folds, and out of the lips to produce a melody. There are many variations of this singing such as a deep drone with a high pitched tone occurring simultaneously, or parallel harmonies, etc. Enjoy this amazing collection that spans the far reaches of Mongolia and Tuva to Vienna, Austria!
