Joe Sample was an American pianist and composer and a founding member of the Crusaders. Joe enjoyed a successful solo career and recorded with Miles Davis, George Benson, Jimmy Witherspoon, B. B. King, Eric Clapton, Steely Dan, and the Supremes. Sample incorporated jazz, gospel, blues, Latin, and classical forms into his music. Joe has passed on, but his bright, funky rhythms and catchy melodies live on in this fun collection of his songs and collaborations.
