Soul of the Sixties!

Notes

After the first Soul single (45 RPM) record I bought, "I Got You (I Feel Good)", I was hooked! Soul music originated in the 1950s and combined elements of gospel music, rhythm and blues, and jazz. This music arose out of the American black experience. No doubt this music had a profound effect on the music business and influenced rock musicians yet to emerge such as the Beatles, Elvis, the Rolling Stones, John Mayall, Eric Clapton, Eric Burdon, and so many more. Enjoy 5 mind-blowing hours!!!

Love this track, however in James Brown "I Feel Good" at the end of the song Smash Mouth makes an un expecting appearance.... Don't remember them being around in the 60s.....

Thanks, Nataliez, I'm glad you enjoyed the mix, and thanks for letting me know about 'I Feel Good' - I should remove that track to keep the pure spirit of the sixties! I must have imported the wrong version - again many thanks!!! Peace, Love, and Joy!
