gloss. began creating original material at age 9 using an eighties boombox, manipulated James Brown radio recordings and a ninja turtles bikehorn. Since those halcyon days the tools have changes bbut the passion and DIY spirit have not.
Soon after he taught himself to play piano. At age 13 a casette of Nevermind inspired him to pick up guitar. Soon after he taught himself music theory including most of the western and eastern scales/modes He's since added mandolin, bass, drums and sound design to his repretoire.
Underground electronic music caught his attention through a raver friend at age 15 who took him to a festival in the Mojave desert, where he got lost and slept on a rock.
