This is an attempt to showcase some of the alternative music from India. I understand there is an underground music scene which I've not managed to find out much about, but here are some songs which are somewhat left of the middle, mostly from films. The Hindi word I put on the cover, is Vilakshan which means strange and wondrous. I was originally going to call this a hindi alternative mix, but became too tempted to include Punjabi songs, so it's an India mix.
