It’s the year 2084. With his dying breath, a mostly cybernetic John Carpenter uploads a cassette tape to The Outernet. The cassette is a long forgotten mixtape of tracks and voiceover derived from a secret script he wrote with John Hughes during the previous 80’s. The script’s first half, written by Hughes, the second half written by Carpenter. The movie never went into production, and all that remains of it now is this tape. The label reads: “Synthetic Skyline”.
