Paul Hindemith wrote his Sonata fur Harfe in 1939 in Switzerland for Italian harpist Clelia Gatti-Aldrovandi. The piece is one of two which participants in the 2015 Lyon & Healy Awards competition must perform. This radio mix includes 19 versions of the sonata’s second movement, "Lebhaft".
