Notes
Pop music of the UK and the US has featured the sitar in various different ways over the last 40 odd years. From the respectful & traditional to the downright exploitative, fake & parodic, the sound of the sitar is a mainstay in popular music here in the west in one form or another. In tribute to that, here's 34 sitar-kissed & accentuated tracks by Traffic, Oriental Sunshine, The Future Sound of London & many others.
