Reds, pinks and oranges filled the Texas morning sky as the sun finally began to peak over the horizon, they had been up and at it for hours before the sun had decided to join them but with the sun meant that they were finally going to be able to take a break and sit and eat breakfast instead of just the granolas bars that they had packed away in secret stashes around the barn for early mornings like this. They were in the northern pasture bringing in this years cow calf crop from processing and it was time to move them to a different pasture. It was all a delicate balance of rotating pastures to make sure one didn't get over grazed and others got the attention they needed so the grass would grow back just as strong the next year.
